Meet the owners of Wild Winds Brewery
Jen Rogers (she/her) - Chief Awesome Officer, Brewer & Certified Cicerone
Hi, I’m Jen, your Chief Awesome Officer at Wild Winds Brewery! I wear all the hats—brewer, website wizard, social media storyteller, sales superstar, and can label artist extraordinaire. One of the perks of owning a brewery? Giving yourself the coolest title.
I graduated with distinction from the Olds College Brewmaster Program in 2019 and have been immersed in the craft beer world since 2018. From Quality Control to Production Manager and even teaching as a Brewmaster Instructor, I’ve done it all. I’m also a Certified Cicerone®, a beer judge with the BJCP, and a certified pro in HR (because multitasking is my superpower).
Brewing beer isn’t just my job—it’s my passion, and I love sharing it with every sip you take. Cheers!
Tim Prince (he/him) - Chief Miscellaneous Officer (think Office Space “What do you do here?”)
Hi, I’m Tim, the Chief Miscellaneous Officer at Wild Winds Brewery! While I don’t work full-time with the brewery, I’m always happy to lend a hand. You’ll often find me helping Jen at events or slinging beers when our taproom opens.
With 17 years of experience in health, safety, environment, regulatory, and emergency management, I’ve honed my leadership and technical skills across oil and gas, utilities, and power generation. These roles have given me unique insights into navigating complex operations and delivering results—skills I’m excited to bring to Wild Winds whenever needed.
Cheers, and see you at the taproom when we’re open!

Our location - Coming Soon-ish to Bridgeland, Calgary, AB
We acknowledge that the land we live, work and play is the traditional territories of the Blackfoot Confederacy, including the Siksika, Piikani and Kainai Nations; the Stoney-Nakoda, including the Chiniki, Bearspaw and and Goodstoney First Nations; and the Tsuut’ina Nation. Southern Alberta is also home to the Métis Nation of Alberta, Region 3.
We want to contribute to our local communities’ economic, tourism, and community development strategies. We believe our business will support the cultivation of economic diversity and help fill a void in the beverage manufacturing industry.
Wild Winds believes in community investment. We will work closely with the community and develop strategic partnerships that benefit our local community. We are in the process of sourcing local contractors and service providers to assist with the renovation of our facility and the ongoing maintenance requirements. The facility will include a:
Kitchen Space (for rent/lease/pop-ups)
Outdoor patio
Taproom and dining area
We also plan to team-up with other local businesses to develop collaborative merchandise such as beer soap, garments, spent grain baked goods, and art. Additionally, we hope to introduce brewery yoga, contribute to local farmer’s markets, and sponsor athletic teams or events.
